Use LED Christmas lights for holiday decoration. They can last up to 10,000 hours, are just as bright and twinkly as the old-fashioned lights, and use 90% of the power, which can add up to big savings over the holiday season.

I hope you mean that LEDs use about 90% less power than old fashion incandescent lights. I still miss the bubble lights we had when I was young. Using a timer to automatically turn the light ON and OFF really does help, especially for outdoor lights.
